That company got sold three times and I stayed along for the ride and ended up an engineering manager at a company that once had over 165,000 employees...

...but not today.

In spite of being paid a lot of money, receiving bonuses and stock options, I was always broke.

Something was seriously wrong!

I was very skilled at making others rich, but I was going no where.

Finally, I said "enough" and began to reprogram myself for change. I began to study what success and leadership really meant. The more I learned, the more I realized that I needed to share what I knew. First, I co-founded a business incubator and helped other entrepreneurs start up and operate successful businesses without needing to ask venture capitalists for money. That was a rewarding experience but I felt I wasn't reaching the right people. Most don't have a new technology, product idea, or patent. I wanted to help people like me. People like you.

So many people spend their entire lives running the rat race, but even the fastest runners are still rats.

Gone are the days of working for one company, retiring and living on a stable pension. Your company sees you as an expense. If you use a computer at work, it is considered the asset, but not you. Jobs are moving to outsourcing firms and overseas as employers find cheaper "expenses" to operate those "assets." Some companies have recently made the news because they are trying to cancel their pension programs.

Some believe their retirement is secure.

Others believe their industry or company is immune to such problems.

People usually do...until it's too late.
